Biom Energy Product's Misto® is a product derived from the blending of crushed hazelnut shells and virgin olive stones. Both are the least polluting products among the various natural bio fuels, deriving from the waste of agricultural production: the hazelnut shells are obtained from the processing of hazelnuts, while the virgin olive stones are produced by pitting olives in the pre-pressing phase. The combination of these two products forms a biomass with a very high heating performance, since in the combustion phase the virgin olive stones guarantee a burning embers while the chopped hazelnut shells feed a hot and lively flame. In addition, combining crushed hazelnut shells with virgin olive stones ensures considerable savings in terms of volume during storage and transport.
